Fully renovated and equipped, the space feels far removed from standard holiday accommodation.

Your private tropical garden Step outside and the garden is entirely yours. The front lawn is shaded by mature palm trees, with a hammock for afternoon naps and room for the kids to run freely. At the back, a large brick barbecue and passion fruit pergola create the perfect setting for outdoor dining. A badminton court at the front can be set up for volleyball or mini-tennis — a rare luxury for a private villa rental on Ishigaki island.

Yonehara Beach, one of Ishigaki island’s most celebrated snorkeling spots, is a one-minute walk from the gate. Snorkeling equipment is included. The outdoor shower lets you rinse off before stepping back inside.

• No sand and no water inside the house. Outdoor shower is available
• No grilling inside

From May 1st to August 31st, flying termites are hitting the island on some nights. Please do not open windows after sunset, even with the insect nets on. Termites entering the house may settle and cause great damage.
